If i had a chance to present i would have talked about dating was which isDating is a stage of romantic relationships in humans whereby two people meet socially with the aim of each assessing the other’s suitability as a prospective partner in an intimate relationship. It is a form of courtship, consisting of social activities done by the couple.

And then talked about the type of dating i was focused on which was

Old people meet-which is for older people from 50-80 and how they are differnt branch of them.

Black people meet-which is for black people only

and compared with my partner on how dating can be different from age to race.

Me and my partner focused on a google doct at first but we decided t switch it to a PowerPoint turned out great.We are done with the pictures and the post .I really feel like we did good on this collective project but we haven’t customized our page yet because we have been having issues with the site,so we are going to finish that today in class and we should be able to turn it in by the end of today hopefully.It took us a while to add in the pictures but we are finished with that.

Reflection

My audience for my piece is everyone in the united states because its an issue that persists in the united states. It reflects the value of our community because its an issue that affects everyone in our community and we have to fight hard to stop it. The process I took for this was interviewing people that were connected to this issue twice this week. I think it might need to be changed a little bit before publication then it will truly be ready for publication. My question about this piece is it good enough for publication. Yes, I want people to know what I am talking about.

Why does the criminal justice system need to be reformed? it puts minorities in particularly male blacks at a disadvantage because they are arrested and convicted at a much higher rate. It also puts low social-economic individuals at a disadvantage because of the bond fees for posting bails.

What are the opportunities for innovation in the criminal justice system? One opportunity is Rehabilitation because it equips low-level offenders to successful renter society another opportunity would be Reclassification of some criminal offenses 

Why is criminal justice reform so important? Criminal justice reform is very necessary because it discriminates people based on race, class and other factors contributed to it.

Is meaningful reform possible in the current political climate? Yes, it is possible and necessary, but it will also be very challenging to put into action or perspective with the way the criminal justice system is right now.

What changes could be made to improve the criminal justice system? Racism in the prison system as a cop I saw a lot of racist activities and crime in the criminal justice system that made me sick to my bone as an African American female officer, Mandatory minimum sentencing law needs to be changed before I talk about why it needs to change what is mandatory minimum sentencing laws are designed as a basic rule-of-thumb for specific charges meaning that each crime you commit comes with a certain amount of time you have to spend in jail. It needs to be reformed because prosecutors use it to their advantage by threatening defendants with longer sentencing in an attempt to secure a guilty plea in exchange for a reduced sentence law. People have abused this power and put in jail for a very long time because of this reasoning that the criminal justice system use.

What is criminal justice reformation to you? There needs to be changed in it should have evolved. Different minorities are targeted in the criminal justice system. The poor are targeted because they don’t have enough money to get a good lawyer but the rich can because of the money they have.

What are the opportunities for innovation in the criminal justice system? There a lot our opportunities that need to be improved in the criminal justice system. I think the new technology can help improved dramatically by giving us tools to improve our work in the criminal justice system. I also think law changes can help the criminal justice because with the laws we have right now it is not very fair to a lot of people we currently have in our country

What changes could be made to improve the criminal justice system? The criminal justice system is moving in the right direction. There is very little bias in it. I think they understand the system and they are working hard to improve the problems so that everyone can be treated equally in the criminal justice system. The change is going to be hard because we have been doing this for a decade that it is hard to change the mindset of the people in the criminal justice system.

Is meaningful reform possible in the current political climate that we c? I will like to think it is. We are not very supportive of our current political ways. Our president is not doing a good job in the current criminal reformation today. As someone whose wife is a foreign-born, I think what Trump is doing in the immigration system is wrong. I believe everyone should get a fair shake in our criminal justice system when it comes to immigration.

What interested me most about the color blue is first the article talks about ancient times, which I
love because I am a real fan of history. I like how the article questioned us to think for ourselves
which was very neat to explore. It connects the relationship between language perception and
reality is based by the language you speak is the color you see so in simpler terms if your
language let’s say doesn’t have the world yellow in it and you speak the language you wouldn’t
know the world yellow and that would change your perception of seeing anything yellow.
My experience with journalism today is that it’s not a very big part of the United States culture.
It wakes people up to the realities of the world. It gives voice to the voiceless. It investigates and
reports current affairs like fashion, political or general issues to a very broad audience to see. I
honestly like the new model A Future without The Front-Page talks about I like how they are
focused on a local topic like schools, testing facilities and the circumstance of that instead of
focusing on national topics. It gives a good sense to me because I think school should always
come first in the topic being talked about because without education how we supposed to
evaluate and understand other things that are going on.
A discourse community is a group of people who share a common interest, language as they talk
and write about what interests them. I understand the concept like this is a concept that focuses
on a community who share a set of common goal or purpose in mind and communicate to
achieve those goals. It’s a new concept to me. I find it interesting that they all have a goal in
mind. University of Cincinnati Blue Ash is connected to a discourse community because
everyone here came here to achieve a goal of making something for themselves as they move on
towards the future, so they communicate and work hard to achieve that goal
